Snapshot: 10 movable benches for Aarhus
city centre |
The artists
Nis Rømer,
Marie Markman and Jesper Dyrehauge asked them selves the question: "How
are the common spaces in the city shaped and who decides how they should
appear?". The artists group designed and produced 10 moveable benches
and placed them i various places in Aarhus city centre. The project was
a part of the exhibition "Solidarity UNLIMITED? Freedom Liberty
Brotherhood" arranged by the gallery Rum46.

The benches was placed at various squares and spaces in the city centre of
Aarhus in the period between February 19. until Marts 13. 2005
